Robert Yagoda, LMHC, CAP, ICADC, SAP


As CEO and Founder of Three Trees Center for Disordered Eating, Robert Yagoda brings his knowledge and passion of more than 13 years in the field of treating and caring for clients in need. His combined clinical and administrative experience of eating disorders, drug and dual diagnosis treatment has given him the knowledge to appropriately design programing that is targeted at helping persons suffering. Robert is a licensed mental health counselor who began his career working with this population of clients. Using his experience of accelerating providers in the healthcare industry to national prominence, Robert always envisioned opening a facility that allows people suffering from this disorder to find true inner peace with food and self-acceptance. What motivates him most is seeing clients make groundbreaking strides in recovery, knowing Three Trees is a part of their growth and success.



As a Registered Dietitian, Andrea provides client focused nutrition therapy to empower individuals in the recovery process of any eating disorder. Andrea caters to changing both men and women’s relationship with food in a unique approach, which equips her clients through all phases in the progression of their own personal recovery. She has a diversified background working with athletes suffering from the physical pressures, along with clients struggling with food, body image and self-acceptance, as it is related to food. Andrea holds a Masters of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and is currently working on her Doctorate dissertation in Health Psychology. Andrea has developed several successful eating disorder programs working as a private consultant and is the creator of the Evolutions Center for Disordered Eating nutrition philosophy. As someone who is recovered herself, Evolutions Center for Disordered Eating Center has been established with the intent to understand each individual, their eating disorder struggles and the most effective nutrition approach for all clients.

Dr. Edward Zawardi, D.O.

Medical Director

Dr. Edward Zawazki, D.O. serves as the Medical Director at Three Trees Center For Disordered Eating. Dr. Zawadzki is a board certified Psychiatrist with an extensive background in General and Forensic Psychiatry. Additionally, Dr. Zawadzki has earned a master’s degree in Neuropsychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, as well as a degree in psychology from Penn State University. As our Medical Director, Dr. Zawadzki is a vital member or our interdisciplinary treatment team, working directly with the treatment staff to provide comprehensive holistic care to our clients. Dr. Zawadzki has years of experience treating clients suffering from disordered eating, addiction and co-occurring disorders in a wide variety of settings. Dr. Zawadzki provides expertise and oversight to the entire staff, creating a safe and loving environment for our clients driven by evidence based practice and innovation in the treatment of eating disorders.

Dr. Jamie Brodarick

Clinical Director

Dr. Brodarick is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, college professor, researcher, and author. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Master of Science and doctoral degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Brodarick has worked with individuals, couples, and families in private practice for the past four years. For over ten years, she has been committed to facilitating therapeutic support groups, developing programs and curriculum, helping clients process past traumas and complex grief, and engaging family members to improve client outcomes and decrease relapse.

Dr. Brodarick has previously served as the Director of Admissions for a residential eating disorder treatment center, which also provided day treatment and intensive outpatient programming. In this role, she supported clients and their families in accessing services and navigating barriers to treatment, assessing appropriate levels of care, and strategizing interventions through family support services.

Dr. Brodarick also serves as an adjunct professor for Nova Southeastern University and Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses for their Psychology, Counselor Education, and Human Services programs. She is also a Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy masters level interns pursuing licensure as clinicians. Dr. Brodarick is passionate about advising and training the next generation of dedicated helping professionals.

Tenniel Unger, RN

Director of Nursing

As a Registered Nurse with nearly a decade of experience and a Nurse Executive in the Behavioral Health setting, Tenniel brings a wealth of knowledge in her oversight of the medical department.  Tenniel’s dedication to client-centered care has led her to design and implement innovative programs. Integrating evidence-based practices to provide the highest quality of care in the treatment of disordered eating, addiction and co-occurring conditions is essential to her work ethic. Tenniel’s passion to raise awareness for mental health wellness has led her to provide educational classes to the community by raising awareness. Through empowering and educating individuals, Tenniel helps individuals live healthier lives.

Denise Carey, MA,

Director of Utilization Review

Denise completed her Master’s degree in Health Care Administration this year at Ashford University in San Diego California. In 2013, she received her Bachelors from Waldorf College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation Denise attended The Addictions Academy and completed all courses to become a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC).

Denise began her career in utilization review in 2009 as a U.R. specialist and by 2011 worked her way into the role of a director. Utilization Review is for Denise where her career became her passion. Along the way Denise has played many roles with her position in U.R. including intake, admissions, verifying benefits, completing peer and doctor reviews, writing appeals, collections, billing, and counseling. Early on Denise was also the assistant to the director of nursing where she worked very closely with the nursing staff, scheduling, FTE’s, budgeting, and pharmacy ordering.

Denise has a future that is open to a PhD, or possibly a nursing degree, which has been a lifelong desire. In her spare time, Denise enjoys being outside, gardening, relaxing at the beach or collecting shells, listening to live music, and Yoga. Denise also spends a lot of time with her family.

Sherry Littlefield

Director of Billing

Sherry brings a wealth of experience to her role as Director of Billing at Three Trees Center for Disordered Eating, with more than 20 years in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining our team, Sherry’s career path lead to revenue cycle and business office management in Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse, Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing, and Physician Practices. In her current role Sherry is excited to utilize her varied and comprehensive experience in all areas of insurance billing and strategies, streamlining of processes and an understanding of client’s needs in order to provide the best opportunity to maximize their resources for success.
